Questions you want to ask but haven’t the time to WhatsApp

  • Are dogs allowed? Just little LUNA we are afraid. Sorry, you know we would have every dog in the land but The Storyteller, quite sensibly, thinks that might be rather chaotic. And we are all responsible for trying to ensure Luna doesn’t eat the wedding cake!

  • Will there be Gluten Free/ Dairy Free/ Vegan/ Vegetarian available? That’s an easy one, 100%, you will be catered for.

  • What time should I arrive? Your ‘Save the Date’ card includes the time. If it states noon, we will see you at the Registry Office. If it shows either 1pm or 6pm we will see you for celebrations at The Storyteller.

  • What is the dress code? Anything you fancy, go wild, it is a wedding after all. Add some flowers if you can, flowers are the theme (because let’s face it in February it is going to be grey and wet, and we will all be crying out for some sunshine and flowers).

  • Gifts? As you know, we already have two of everything (and yes, we are aware how spoit we are). We are also very aware that attending weddings is already not cheap. So gifts are 100% not necessary. We love a card, with a heartfelt message (well Alix does).

That said, we are planning to travel to Japan on our honeymoon, and if you want to “donate” towards that then the savings account is this one: Sam Gorny {Starling Bank} 40-17-10 32452022 (only transfer funds if your bank gives you a “full match”). If you do send funds, please add a note on your RSVP or email alixsamgorny@gmail.com so that we can confirm safe receipt and send a HUGE thank you. But please don’t feel in any way obliged, we honestly just want to hang out with you.
